Routines

Available routines include:

• A nerve-wracking bullet catch, the only one currently available on the UK cabaret circuit which recruits an unplanted audience volunteer to pull the trigger!
• An escape from various handcuffs and a mailbag, all bundled into a padlocked wooden crate that is set on fire!
• An escape from a medical-issue straitjacket and thirty, sixty or ninety feet of steel chain!
• An escape from multiple pairs of handcuffs and a leather fetish bag, all within an airtight medical bodybag!
• An escape from six pairs of handcuffs, all examined by and available to the audience for inspection beforehand!

If riotous comedy and tomfoolery are what you're after, Flay collaborates with the multi-talented Balthazar DeVille on Duelling Straitjackets (see videos on the Extras page). Flay and DeVille also collaborate on an anarchic musical comedy sketch based around the traditional jazz song My Brother Makes The Noises For The Talkies.

Flay and DeVille are the hosts of the Circus Of Marvels, a publicly-acclaimed cabaret night brimming with current and up-and-coming stars from the fields of burlesque, magic, cabaret singing and vaudeville comedy!

The Circus rolls into town at Madame Jojo's in Soho every three months - see the Upcoming page soon for details of the next one. The Circus Of Marvels is also available for hire as a complete ready-made cabaret night, and can travel nationwide.

Flay is available for hire as a talented compere, and tailors all his material and routines specifically to each event. His other talents include stilt-walking, and he does occasional voice-over and television appearances for the BBC.
